CTSI Logistics began as a freight forwarding company in 1989, servicing the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan), Guam and Micronesia. Formerly known as Consolidated Transportation Services Inc., the company for several years focused on the growing business on the islands (garments and fishing) and served as the freight forwarding arm of its parent company Luen Thai, a global player in the garments manufacturing business. As globalization and trade boomed in the 1990s, the company took its services to the next level by bringing onboard a young and dynamic team of IT and Logistics professionals, and started the transformation of the company into an integrated logistics provider, subsequently naming itself CTSI Logistics. Now with over 20 years of experience in the industry, CTSI Logistics Guam is one of the most competent players in the Western Pacific region. Its expertise in sea and air freight forwarding has been complemented with the latest in information technology, to provide real-time information to customers. As an end-to-end logistics services provider, CTSI Logistics Guam has forayed into the Household Goods and Relocation business to offer their competent services for a worry free relocation. CTSI Guam further strengthened its commitment to clients by building the first all-concrete facility, the Guam Industrial Center, in 2005. The Tamuning facility is a symbol of strength and security, with CTSI Logistics Guam being a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) and a C-TPAT accredited facility. In 2010, it opened the doors of its airport facility at Tiyan, measuring 43,300 sq ft. Guam facilitates entry to and from major Asian markets, being only a few hours away from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and China. Guam is one of the stations in the CTSI Logistics group.
