EAT (Europe Asia Transit Logistic and Transport) is one of the first and largest transport-forwarding companies in Kazakhstan. Its specialization is the strategic and rational management of transport and logistics processes; providing a full range of services in the fields of international and domestic cargo transportation. LLP (Europe-Asia-Transit) was established in June 1998 as a Ground Handling Agent rendering services on temporary storage on the territory of International Airport of Almaty. In order to increase the cargo turnover by attracting the transit/transfer cargo flow a new transit/transfer zone began operation, and one of the directions of LLP (Europe-Asia-Transit) was rendering transport forwarding services. In 2003 with a goal to improve the quality of rendered services this direction was outlined to a separate company registered later as LLP “EAT”. The Mission of the EAT company is providing high-quality services according to the international standards, and satisfaction of the highest requirements of the consumer. The main goal of EAT Company is full contribution to the chosen course of economic development of the state to increase the transit potential of the country. By implementing a number of infrastructure projects (the construction of the first multimodal terminal, the construction of Railway Station, etc.) directed at attracting transit freight flow through the territory of Kazakhstan, the EAT company intends to contribute to the development of a modern transport system in our country. “The main objective of transport and communication complex of Kazakhstan is integration in the Eurasian transport system. Its development should fully ensure the benefits of geo-strategic location of the country, which is a transit bridge between Europe and Asia” (extract from the Speech of the President of Kazakhstan N.Nazarbaev to the Kazakhstan people). The primary objective of the Kazakhstan Company “EAT” is to create a national brand, which is associated with reliability and high quality services that can compete with leading international companies in the field of transport logistics.
