Transfreight was founded in 1982. It is one of Pakistan’s earliest “International Freight Forwarding” organizations. We have within our fold, personnel that are experienced and highly respected in the International freight transport and shipping sector of Pakistan. We maintain our principal office in the commercial district of Karachi, very close to Karachi Port. The office has modern IT systems also offering tracking and tracing services. All computers are centrally connected to the main frame server and their excess is controlled through firewalls and excess policies. We have our branch offices in Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot and soon to open in Multan. Transfreight tied up cooperation agreements with companies at many important international locations and started moving different types of cargoes whether it was airfreight of hand pumps to Australia or shiploads of grain on charter vessels to Pakistan and its trucking to the Northern areas, textile goods to USA and France or raw leather to Italy in containers or full plant machinery from Swiss and German textile machinery manufacturers for Pakistani textile projects. Transfreight maintains its own shipping as well as custom licenses issued by the Government of Pakistan, maintains its self owned fleet of trailers catering to heavy lift shipments and has its own warehouses. * All employees employment history is verified before hiring. Pre-employment background check is performed before hiring. * Security awareness training is provided to every employee. * All employees wear company issued photo ID badges at all the time while in office facility. * Upon termination of any employee; all excess codes, ID cards etc are changed / surrendered. While having a fire/ safety and Environment policy, our office security is maintained and monitored through. * Guard Station at the entrance * Walkthrough gates at the entrance of the building * Log book is maintained for every visitor * CCTV cameras are installed, during and after working hours. * 24/7 back-up power generation. * Visitors Policy in place i.e. visitors cards are issued to visitors. * We have written instructions for facility lockdown, daily checklist is documented, maintained and signed off weekly (if required). * Burglar alarm / intrusion detection systems are installed in the office facility. * Excess to data control room is restricted to authorized personnel only.
