Embassy Freight Services (UK) Limited is based in Basildon, Essex, a strategic location close to London, the ports of Tilbury, Thamesport, Felixstowe and the New London Gateway is just 5 miles away. We operate our own Sea Freight consoles from all major ports. We are one of the few forwarders that have our own dangerous goods consolidation service from major ports in China. We operate Sea freight LCL consolidation, FCL, Out of Gauge and Project cargo, and have our own dedicated team for handling Out of Gauge, Open Top & Flat Rack units as our core business, with container purchase for SOC operations into and from the Middle East and Asia. We have 30,000 sq/ft of handling warehouse for deconsolidation, storage and distribution; with logistics packages for our overseas customers. Along with membership & certification of BIFA, FIATA & IATA we also hold a number of UK government licenses that enable us to handle military and sensitive cargoes such as Section 1, 2 and 5. We have a very good reputation with Carriers which enables vessel acceptance within short time frames. We are the only freight forwarder to have our air freight office located in the heart of the Heathrow Cargo Centre, in the same building as HM Customs and surrounded by airlines and handling agents, so our Airfreight Operations offers Time Critical, Aerospace and AOG Services. We are proud to be a founding member of TCLA, and provide a range of services mainly for the aerospace industry, from routine through to AOG, with an AOG Duty Officer on call 24/7-365. We also provide climate controlled services for hi-tech cargoes within this sector. For your AOG/NFO requirements, our own in-house Customs clearance department means that we can mirror the commitment and service you provide and promise your customer; ensuring that complete customer satisfaction is delivered. In addition, we also provide an OBC service, both outbound and inbound.
