Established in 1990 Cargo Overseas was founded to provide the complete multimodal logistics solution for its customers. We do this by ensuring that all our staff from director level down are completely hands on in the day to day running of the business. With our head office in Manchester and our office also at London Heathrow airport we are well placed to offer comprehensive coverage throughout the whole of the UK. Offering or own air, sea and road services we offer our clients the complete logistics solution.
Airfreight:
We are a full IATA cargo agent meaning we can offer aggressive airfreight rates on all major carriers. Our onsite x-ray facility means we have the facility to build our own airfreight pallets and consolidations and make the cargo secure before submitting to the airlines. We have direct customs links to all major UK airports meaning we handle our own customs brokerage in house and our hubs in Heathrow and Manchester are fully bonded customs warehouses. We always have somebody working out of hours to make sure for that whatever the time of day or week, for that urgent shipment whether it be an urgent customs clearance and delivery or an urgent Handcarry abroad we can fulfil your clients needs. We are also fully trained and certified to handle dangerous goods and offer all services from small express courier cargo to large out of gauge main deck shipments.
Seafreight:
We handle all types of seafreight shipments from the smallest LCL shipments to FCL and ships charters to most destinations worldwide. We have contract in place with a number of shipping lines meaning we can offer aggressive rates to the marketplace. Cargo Overseas was founded on large turnkey projects meaning we are expert at handling out large of gauge project cargo particularly for the mining, marine and oil and gas industries. Our onsite customs bonded 20,000 square foot onsite warehouse in Manchester gives us the capability to load and unload containers and our onsite domestic trucking division means we can offer national coverage for collections and deliveries. We have our own direct links to customs at all major seaports and handle all import and export brokerage in house.
Roadfreight:
Cargo Overseas has its own in house domestic trucking company. We offer full UK coverage and have a daily vehicles running between our Manchester and Heathrow operations. This enables us to offer our clients full national UK coverage at the lowest possible rates and complements our airfreight and seafreight operations. We also have a number of contracts with European carriers meaning we have the capacity to offer regular services throughout mainland Europe.
